Explorer Outdoor 'Linothorax'

The statue of the "Celtic Prince of Glauberg" wears a light breastplate made of glued linen. And that is supposed to have protected him from arrows? We'll find out - in an archaeological experiment! The students learn about the scientific methods of experimental archaeology by measuring and recording shooting distances and draw weights of bows as well as penetration depths. Of course, someone also has to shoot at the armor in a very practical way!
