From ore to sword

Around 800 BC, people in Europe learned about a new material: iron. Iron had many advantages, but it takes a lot of skill to turn shiny stones from the ground into sharp blades and robust tools. In the museum garden, the students learn a lot of interesting facts about the production and processing of Celtic iron using numerous hands-on replicas.
