Shiny metal objects according to your own design

All manual work steps that are necessary for a simple metal casting are carried out. We work outside, protected from the rain, by an open fire. Each participant makes his or her own mold, into which hot,
liquid tin is poured. With skill and perseverance, you can transform rough castings into fine jewelry, a key chain, or other beautiful, shiny object based on your own design!

Tin has been used in Central Europe for over 4000 years in a mixture with copper as a casting material. The casting of metal is a very old craft that dates back to the Late Stone Age (around 4300 BC). Since the Bronze Age over 4000 years ago, weapons, jewelry and equipment have been made from bronze in molds made from clay or stone.

Course: 10 am to 5 pm
The course is limited to 14 people.
Cost: 50 euros plus 12 euros for materials per person (additional material fee for individual additional consumption) For adult individuals, the material costs include the production and transport of 1-2 custom-made molds and at least 3 finished cast objects. Additional materials can be paid for individually during the course.
For families/adults with their own children aged 8 and over This creates the opportunity for Course price of 50,- Euro per family to take part – if the parents support their child/children in the practical work – to make one cast object per family member and pay only 12 euros per person extra.
