Workshop: Tablet weaving

Learn the techniques of weaving on a free warp to make your own belt. You choose the motif from a selection of patterns and then learn how to tension the warp and weave it on. Everyone then weaves at their own pace. Any problems that may arise are discussed during the course. At the end, you will have a selection of different options for an attractive finish to the woven piece. A layout plan, weaving cards and a shuttle are provided. Participants must bring their own wool, scissors and other utensils.
