Workshop: Tablet weaving

Learn the techniques of free warp weaving to make your own belt. You choose the motif from a selection of patterns and then learn how to stretch the warp and weave it. Then everyone weaves at their own pace. Any problems that may arise will be discussed during the course. At the end you will have a choice of different options for an attractive finish to the woven piece. A layout plan, weaving cards and a shuttle are provided. Participants must bring their own wool, scissors and other utensils.
