Guided tour on the architecture of Konradsdorf Monastery

Power and faith – solid walls – the medieval architecture in Konradsdorf Monastery

The two remaining buildings of Konradsdorf Monastery display a spectrum of architectural forms that 13th-century people associated with imperial and ecclesiastical power. Furthermore, remnants of construction techniques from that era have survived to this day. Both inside and out, we find various architectural and structural elements in the church and the provost's residence, and we place them within their historical and art historical context.

Please note that the monastery grounds and access to the buildings are not wheelchair accessible and currently have no sanitary facilities!
