30 years since the discovery of the statue at Glauberg – anniversary celebration
On June 28, 2026, the Celtic World at Glauberg celebrates a special anniversary: 30 years ago, the famous statue of the "Celtic Prince" was discovered here – a find
of international significance. This event will be the occasion for a large festival in the museum garden (10:00–18:00), open to visitors of all ages.
It is aimed at all generations. The focus is on a wide range of hands-on and experiential activities: At numerous stations, guests can learn about historical techniques, get active themselves and discover regional specialties.
In cooperation with the Wetterau Tourism Region, retailers and exhibitors from the region will present themselves with craft demonstrations, experimental stations, and hands-on activities.
The museum garden thus becomes a vibrant marketplace for regional culture, creativity, and history. A special highlight is the performance by the Eintracht Glauberg marching band from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the bistro terrace.
* Official speeches for the anniversary
