Workshop: Metal workshop – Silver bracelet
Inspired by the Iron Age arm ornaments from the female burial of Höchst-Hummetroth in the Odenwald district, all participants will create a „Celtic wave bracelet“ from silver under guidance.
Those who wish can try their hand at working on a prototype made of pre-heated iron before starting work on the silver ring. Hammering, bending, and filing are involved, and finally, a clasp mechanism, like that of the original find, is individually adapted.
